At train4performance we understand how difficult it is to juggle the rising demands in the workplace, family time, and your social life. Longer working hours are taking a toll on you emotionally, mentally, and physically. You've heard about 'Burnout' - but now you are starting to experience the effects of it. Trying to achieve your well-being goals whilst dealing with the stresses and strains of everyday life can be more than just a challenge. It's easy to lose your direction and focus when you have so many things to balance, performance both at work and at home suffers - you understand that your mind and body need to be aligned for you to be at your best 'Peak Performance'. This is where we come in - we understand your dilemma, which is why we don't produce training and nutrition plans which are basic and generic - we focus on the outcomes.
During the creation of your programme we take into account any ‘variables’ which are unique to you and your lifestyle. From this information, we partner together to implement an integrative health approach. This includes working with you to achieve the correct mind-set in order to overcome any 'self-defeating' behaviors which are standing in the way of you achieving your goals, ultimately optimising your health, performance and capacity and keeping you on track in the future. We are passionate about you achieving your goals and by working together through partnership and a systemic approach.

Hi! My name is Iain Bainbridge and since a very young age, I’ve always been interested in intense sports and fitness – from running marathons and triathlons to competing internationally in Olympic Taekwondo.
My continued desire to keep both physically and mentally ‘fit’ has never disappeared, and being an avid lifelong learner, my passion led me to study numerous disciplines including becoming a Certified Personal Training Coach, Advanced Sports Nutritionist, Certified Cancer Risk Nutritional Coach, Medical Rehabilitation Specialist, and Wellbeing Coach.
Then, in 2016, after many years of dynamic personal growth in the corporate world, (including over 20 years working at senior level in the international Health & Fitness industry), I decided to launch train4performance – and yes, we are different.
The coaching my team and I conduct with our members isn’t just the ‘run-of-the mill’ coaching – of course, there is a huge focus on the physical aspect of changing your lifestyle, but we have found that an integrative approach that includes mind & body awareness, nutritional education, positive habit-forming techniques, and engagement through personal accountability produces the definitive outcomes that our members desire.
People ask me why I am in this industry - for me, it’s incredibly rewarding seeing my members, from people who have recognised their lifestyle needs to urgently change to amateur athletes, global CEOs, professional athletes, and the occasional TV and film celebrity, commit to, and achieve, a healthier and sustainable lifestyle.
